Positions Available

Upper elementary classroom assistant

  • Schedule: Monday & Tuesday 8:00-3:15

  • The Upper Elementary Classroom Assistant helps to establish and maintain the Montessori classroom culture for the 9-12 year olds.

  • Classroom Assistants model respect for and kindness toward all participants as well as between students, staff, parents and the community.

  • Classroom Assistants work directly with the Lead Guide and are key to ensuring that the complex learning environment is prepared for children.

  • The Assistant will enable the Lead Guide to focus on instruction without interruption and reinforce learning concepts that have been presented.

  • The Lead Guide and Classroom Assistant’s interactions should offer a constant model of grace and courtesy for students to emulate.

    Administrative Assistant

  • Assist Director with maintaining compliance and operational requirements of a Licensed Child Care Center & MicroSchool.

  • Proven experience as an executive assistant or in a similar administrative support role.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

  • Requires high level of discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive information.

Substitute Teacher, Support Staff, Subject Specialist

  • Fill in for Lead Guides, Classroom Assistants, or Practical Life Specialists working with 3–12-year-olds.

  • Available on short notice or for planned absences.

all positions require the following

  • Professional Development & Montessori Orientation is required.

  • Associate degree or higher preferred. High School diploma required.

  • Experience with children or youth is preferred.

  • Must pass background checks.

    Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a classroom setting including ability to kneel, squat, and move during interactions with children.

  • Ability to climb and descend flights of stairs multiple times a day.

  • Ability to walk outside daily during all weather conditions.

    Learning Center Schedule:

  • Flexible hours for training and professional development

    Compensation: 

    $12-18 per hour depending on relevant education and experience
